Gifted lyricist, model, actress, humanitarian, & entrepreneur (Nina) Koncrete Rose was born in Norfolk, VA and raised in the Tidewater area in Virginia. K.Rose discovered her natural talent as a writer at the age of 4 years old when she wrote her first song titled "The Sun & the Moon". Over the course of her childhood K.Rose got deeper into her writing as she began to explore poetry & other genres of music. She also has written or began writing pieces of work such as short stories, novels, plays, children books, and hip hop 16s. At the age of 15 K.Rose entered into her first poetry contest and was published and nominated poet of the year 2005 & 2006 by poetry.com for her poem "Angel Number One" that she wrote and dedicated to her late aunt Laurie Ann Gee. In the spring of 2012, K.Rose had two of her poems published in her college's literature book "Channel Marker" Vol. 11 & was invited to be a guest poet to read one of her poems "My Lyrics" publicly.

 After her first college graduation in 2012, K.Rose went on to start her own women's boutique named FAB Boutique & is currently still building her empire in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. In April 2013, K.Rose and a friend started a local non-profit charity Nubian Gold Conscious Provide. Every year NGCP has an Annual Food & Clothing Drive and gives out donations such as free fruit, water, and clothing to those in poverty stricken areas in Hampton Roads and other crisis areas. In 2015, K.Rose landed her first acting role as the leading lady in Hip Hop activist musician Michael Barclift's (knotty from Da Havknots) music video "Be That Man". In February 2016, K.Rose was inducted into the National Association for Professional Women for outstanding work & service within her company FABB. In April 2016, K.Rose company FABB vended at the high profiled fashion event for VAFW and in May 2016 K.Rose was interviewed & published in celebrity wardrobe stylist Pilar Scratch's magazine Fashion Gxd. K.Rose was interviewed for the "Inspiring Lives" section where she gave a great interview inspiring anyone with a dream and her company FABB received four out of five stars for their product review. K.Rose's company has vended at numerous vending shows in her area, K.Rose has done radio interviews (such as Ms. Remi from Hiphop Highlightz), and modeling photo shoots for her brand. In April 2017, Koncrete Rose traveled from Virginia to New York to perform in Brooklyn at The Tree House for P.U.L.S.E. In The City's second True to Soul Poetry Jam. In June 2017, K.Rose performed at the highly anticipated Fierce Fury Fashion Show hosted by Eminent Fashion Ent. This is the performance that has set the bar and K.Rose went from a poet to an entertainer.  In August 2017, K.Rose traveled to Richmond, VA and performed for the The Art Of Wrap Headwrap & Dashiki Brunch. In June 2018, K.Rose made her debut as a Female MC on Macc Tiger's ( a rapper from Texas) song "Pink Slip" and the song received great reviews from VA and TX.  

In January 2019, K.Rose performed at Military Circle Mall for an MLK event sponsored by iheart Radio and in February 2019 she performed for the NAACP.
